This is training course available during the Fall 2023 AFMA Conference. The fee for this class includes conference meals, and presentations outside of the class time. Please do NOT sign up for both the conference AND this class. Both sessions of the HEC-RAS Training Class are required. The first session is all day Wednesday, and the second session is Thursday morning. The objective of this class is to understand the basic modeling principles for developing steady state hydraulic models. This will include: identifying the three main components of a steady flow RAS model, understanding the theoretical basis of RAS model, and developing steady state RAS models for analyzing confluences and bridge/culvert structures.
