Recently the Arizona Floodplain Management Association (AFMA) started a Nature-Based Stormwater Management Committee. The intent is to provide more opportunity for professionals to share LID/GSI information, successes, failures, and lessons learned. AFMA is sponsoring an LID field trip to the Franciscan Renewal Center to see, discuss and test the PaveDrain system installed about 5 years ago (see above Feb 10th, 2023 photo). In addition, we will have a 1,000-gallon water truck available to put the PaveDrain system to the test (see YouTube video link, Pave Drain Testing)
