AFMA Managing Document Revisions Now Available

We are pleased to announce that the AFMA Board of Directors has completed revisions to our managing documents, including the Bylaws (last updated in 2008), the Policy Manual, and the Strategic Plan (both last updated in 2014). All AFMA members are encouraged to review the revised documents in full.

To assist with this process, a table summarizing the changes to the Bylaws is included in the documentation.

The Bylaws, which are still in draft form, need approval by majority vote by AFMA's Voting Members (i.e., designated Floodplain Administrators) before they can be finalized. Voting Members are requested review the proposed Bylaws, and cast their vote by Friday, October 24th, 2025, using the link below.
